JSS Public School, Ooty Wins Championship
The 2nd International Level Open Karate Championship, held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Anna Stadium, Ooty, was a resounding success. Organized by the Rising Goju Karate School, the event saw spirited competition from karatekas of all ages and skill levels.
JSS Public School, with 45 students trained by Master Jawahar, emerged as the overall winners of the tournament, showcasing exceptional talent and discipline. The championship was graced by Grand Master Soke Sir K. Ananthan, Vice President of the Asian Goju Karate Federation (AGKF). Ms. Anitha Ramesh, Principal of JSS Public School, Ooty, was a special invitee to the event.
